Everything you do in college comes together to form your education experience. A lot of students discover new passions and career paths through their involvement in student clubs and organizations. Heidelberg's small campus size provides you with greater opportunities for leadership within organizations as well as the ability to influence and impact campus events.
Throughout the year, you'll be able to join in fun campus-wide events such as Siggy Summer Send-Off and Fresh Check Day. You'll also benefit from either participating in or attending a variety of music and theatre events each semester. Add in our lectures series speakers and the HYPE Career Ready Program and it's almost impossible not to be busy at Heidelberg!

Staying Active
Heidelberg students are active students. Whether it's competing on one of our 20 Division III athletic teams, our various intramural teams, or just running on a treadmill, there's no shortage of ways you can stay active and fit in college.
The Saurwein Health & Wellness Center has a two-level fitness room with free weights, exercise machines, and cardio equipment, a multi-purpose room for fitness classes, and a ping-pong lounge. A city walking/running trail runs right through campus and connects with Heidelberg athletic facilities and the nearby Hedges-Boyer Park.
Over 60% of students are involved in either varsity athletics or intramurals, and our intramural program has been nationally recognized.
